How does Bluefactory license works?

1 Bluefactory account = 1 Salesforce org (unlimited users)

At Bluefactory we are convinced teamwork is the most important factor of success in companies. We do not based license on the bluefactory users your company would need. We offer plans only based on how many Salesforce Org you want to connect to Bluefactory and their size (the data volume for backup or lines of code for code quality). 

For example, if there are 1 000 Salesforce users in one org you want to analyze and you need 10 Bluefactory users, you'll only need one Bluefactory license for the org, no matter the number of Bluefactory users.

To add or manage team members click on the Settings tab, then Team members in the menu.

What features can I use in the trial?

The trial gives you access to all the Bluefactory features. 

The trial includes :

  • Unlimited backup with up to 10GB of capacity each

  • Full retention of your backups up to 2 years

  • Unlimited code scan

  • Access to the Change Tracker

  • Unlimited Sandox seedings

  • Unlimited Org Compare

Do I need to enter credit card details to use the free trial?

No. You can try Bluefactory absolutely free for 14 days, without entering any payment information. 

Bluefactory doesn't install any packages into your Org so it doesn't leave a footprint. Simply log in securely using a Salesforce account to start using Bluefactory.

Can I install Bluefactory on-premises?

We do not offer an on-premise version. Bluefactory is exclusively a SaaS offering.

How long does it take to implement Bluefactory?

As it is a SaaS solution, once you subscribe or try with the 14-days trial period, you can immediately use Bluefactory application in your browser. 

You will have first to complete the registration and initiate modules. It will take you in about 5 minutes!

What payment method & currency can I use?

The payment methods are: 

  • By credit card with Stripe (Secure solution for on-line payment). You can choose your payment frequency: monthly or annually. You may choose to be billed in US Dollars (USD) or Euros (EUR). If you are unable to pay or for more information, please contact us

  • By money transfer under certain conditions. Contact us for more information.

If you require a quote/PO/invoice as part of a corporate procurement process, let us know what are your needs.

What is the payment frequency?

You can select your payment plan while completing the secure checkout (after the registration) in the app or when upgrading a subscription.

Is support included in the price?

Yes. We provide support by email (contact@bluefactory.io) and via the in-app chat window for all our customers.\ You should also feel free to go to the documentation to see if your question is already answered in our community.

Note we're based in the France so our core hours are between 9am and 6pm GMT, but if you have any questions outside of those hours don't be afraid to get in touch - you can often get a reply from us outside of our official support hours.

How do I delete my Bluefactory account?

You can delete your account by sending us your request at hello@bluefactory.io.

Beware! You will no longer be able to :

  • Backup new data

  • Use Code Quality and access to reports

  • Use Change Tracker and access its history

  • Use Sandbox Seeding

  • Compare Org with Bluefactory Org Compare

You can access your data and metadata backed up with Bluefactory for 2 years (default retention) if you stop subscribing. You will NOT be able to do so if you delete your account.

How can I upgrade/cancel my Bluefactory subscription?

Click on the Settings tab, at the top right of any page in the app. Then, click on Upgrade Subscription. For more information or specific demand, please contact us and we'll do everything for you.

Our Enterprise plans have the option of pre-paying annually. However, if you choose a monthly plan without engagement, you can leave Bluefactory at the end of each month. To cancel your account, contact us by mail to hello@bluefactory.io

If you're not happy, we're not happy. At any point during your subscription, reach out to us and let us know how we can make it right.

I forgot/lost my password. How do I reset it?

Bluefactory based its authorization on your Salesforce login & password by the OAuth authentication. It means we use your Salesforce login and password for authentication in Bluefactory application. 

This is a highly secure process used for all your Salesforce apps.

If you want to reset your Salesforce password, go to the Salesforce login page and click on the link "Forgot your password ?".

You will not have to change anything else to access Bluefactory application.

Which Salesforce account should I use to log into Bluefactory?

Logging into Bluefactory is all done via OAuth, using one of your existing Salesforce. It doesn't really matter so long as you always use the same account.

The account you use to log into Bluefactory is only used to create your Bluefactory user profile. We don't see or store your user credentials (e.g. password) - that is all held by Salesforce and securely managed via the OAuth process.

If you accidentally log into Bluefactory using a different account, let us know. We will deactivate it for you so you don't end up with multiple accounts running in parallel.

What do you do about the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)?

Privacy and security are critical to everything we do. Bluefactory worked actively towards full GDPR compliance. You can find our actions to be GDPR compliant in our dedicated documentation.
