IP Whitelist

The IP Whitelist (Enterprise plan) restricts sign-in to your bluefactory account to trusted networks. When no ranges are configured, all IP addresses are allowed; as soon as ranges exist, sign-ins from outside them are refused — for both Salesforce and email sign-in.

Only account owners can manage IP ranges; members see the list read-only.

Adding a range

  1. Go to Settings → IP Whitelist and click Add IP range.
  2. Fill in:
    • Description — a label like Office network.
    • From (IPv4) — the first allowed address, e.g. 203.0.113.0.
    • To (IPv4) — the last allowed address, e.g. 203.0.113.255. Both ends are inclusive.
  3. Click Add range.

Before you lock the door

Add your own network first

The whitelist takes effect at the next sign-in. Make sure the range covering your own current IP address is in the list before you sign out — otherwise you'll lock yourself out and need to contact support.

  • Include your office network(s) and your VPN's egress addresses.
  • Remote workers without a VPN will be blocked — plan for how they connect first.
  • Ranges can be deactivated or deleted at any time by an owner who can still sign in.
