Audit Trail
Settings → Audit Trail is a timeline of every operation across your bluefactory account: who did what, to which record, and when. It's built for compliance reviews and "who changed this?" questions.

What's recorded
Events across the platform, including:
- Configuration — orgs connected, reconnected, enabled, disabled, or deleted; backups created, updated, or deleted; cloud storage and IP whitelist changes; access roles and assignments.
- Operations — backups, restores, and purges started, launched, completed, or failed; compliance requests created or imported.
- Account — subscription changes.
Each entry shows the timestamp (UTC plus relative time), the activity (e.g. Backup created, Org reconnected), the record it concerns, and the author. If a bluefactory support administrator acted on your account with your permission, the author column says so explicitly.
Filtering
Narrow the timeline by author, module (Account, Org, Backup, Restore, Purge, Data compliance, Cloud storage, IP allowlist, Subscription, Access role, Access assignment), and a from/to date range.
Tips
- Reviewing a security incident? Combine the Audit Trail (who acted in bluefactory) with the Metadata Change Tracker (what changed in Salesforce).
- The trail is append-only from your perspective — entries can't be edited or removed from the UI.
